Family Orientation Day
6:00 am to 8:00 pm – Marine Corps Exchange Open
6:00 am to 3:00 pm – Marine Corps Exchange Food Court Open
10:00 am to 5:00 pm – Engraving Shop Open
7:30 am to 4:00 pm – Register when you arrive at the Douglas Visitors Center
8:00 am to 2:30 pm – Java Café open
11:00 am– 1:00 pm – Behind the Scenes Tour at the Douglas Visitors Center (First tour begins at 11:00 am. Second tour begins at 12:00 pm. This is a free event, but seating is limited so sign up for tickets as soon as possible to guarantee seating.
Lunch – Traditions Restaurant, Food Court, Subway, Golf Course, Java Café, or The Bunker
1:30 pm to 2:30 pm – Family Orientation Brief at The Douglas Visitor’s Center
Thursday – Family Liberty Day
6:00 am to 4:00 pm – Douglas Visitor’s Center and Graduation Station. Register when you arrive at the Douglas Visitors Center
6:00 am to 3:00 pm – Java Cafe Open
6:00 am to 8:00 pm – Marine Corps Exchange Open
6:00 am to 3:00 pm – Marine Corps Exchange Food Court Open
6:30 am to 5:00 pm – Engraving Shop Open
7:00 am – Motivational Run – Peatross Parade Deck
8:00 am – Parris Island Museum open
9:30 am – 10:00 am – Battalion Commander’s Brief to Families & Liberty Ceremony at the Peatross Parade Deck (AWTF)
10:00 am – Liberty begins
Lunch –Traditions Restaurant, food court, Subway, Golf Course, Java Cafe, The Bunker (Food Trucks)
3:00 pm – Liberty ends
4:00 pm – 4:30 pm – Command Reception with Depot Command Members at the Lyceum
4:30 – Command Welcome Remarks 4:45 pm – Family Day Dinner with Depot command at Traditions, pre-purchased tickets required
